Travis first came to live with me in August of 2009.

The Humane Society of Williamson County said he was a 'Texas Heeler', a cross between an Australian Cattle Dog and an Australian Shepherd. But his coat and general appearance were all wrong for a Texas Heeler.

Several knowledgeable people suggested that he was most likely he was a Catahoula,  I looked up the Catahoula Leopard dog, and judging by his coloring, his size, his temperament, the quality of his coat, and the shape of his head, I'm pretty sure that's right.
